Mercedes Benz Classic South Africa Ponton Meander To Paul Roux

                         
A large gathering of about 25 Pontons belonging to members of the Mercedes Club of SA had a meander down to the Village for this very chilly weekend where they gathered at the Rosenhof Country Lodge and Dunlin B&B to socialise with each other and those residents of the village who appreciate classic cars. The Maluti Auto Club also had some members who came along in their assortment of cars to join in.

We are told that a gathering of Pontons this size was a very rare occurence and it grabbed the attention of the international Mercedes Benz website news.

Murphey's Law had it that it was the coldest weekend in years and with pipes freezing in the whole area it made showering in the mornings a somewhat delayed affair. But red wine and whiskey flowed in the evenings with lots of banter and testing of Mercedes knowledge and a good time was had by all.
