Snow in Paul Roux 6 August 2012

Monday 6 August saw much of the eastern side of South Africa experiencing snow falls - some places heavier than others. Whilst for many motorists travelling on the N3 between Johannesburg and Durban, their trips turned into nightmares as the main highway was closed. People I knew spent up to 27 hours trapped in their cars, many of them with no food, drink or extra warm clothing.  However, Paul Roux experienced a generous covering of snow which lay heavily on the ground, only to melt several hours later, but not before we were able to have a lot of fun, as did our dogs which all seemed to enjoy the romp.
